In 2023 Estonian oldest walking and NW marathon celebrates its 15th Anniversary with organizing Estonian NW Championships!
Championships are organized in collaboration of Elamusmaratonid and Estonian Nordic Walking Union.
These rules are added upon the rules and regulations of 15th Lahemaa Elamusmaraton rules & regulations.
Championship rules & regulations
Championship is held according to the NW competition rules of Estonian Nordic Walking Union.
In Estonian NW National Championships both Estonian and foreign participants can take part, but only Estonian citizens are awarded and nominated with the Estonian NW Champion title.
What is happening in the Service Points?
There are 2 Service points in 10 km track, see the championship 10 km course map. Participants are offered water and FreeSport isotonic drink from the cups.
Age groups and Award Ceremony
Estonian NW Champions are nominated in following age groups both in male and female categories:
· Juniors (up to 20-years)
· Adults (21-39 years)
· Seniors (40-59 years)
· Veterans (60+ years)
Award Ceremony is held in the start / finish area at 14:15. Winner of each age group is nominated with the title of Estonian NW Champion and best 3 in each age group is nominated with the Estonian NW Championship medals.
